How is your Halloween? Do you dress up on Halloween Do you get trick or treaters? Do you help pass out the candy? Do you find it fun, annoying, or don't pay any attention?
Pocket: I used to dress up when our grandchildren were younger but now they aren't into Halloween, just the candy. When Foley and I lived across from the state mental institution we got a lot odd trick or treaters but when we moved to the land of the old white walkers we only get aa few small groups. All in all, I can do without out.
We have gotten fewer and fewer trick or treaters each year. This year Mom didn't get a big stash of candy - so watch, we will be overwhelmed with kiddos:)
ReplyDeleteWe begrudgingly dressed up for Mom, you can see how happy we were about it tomorrow:)

I buy candy, turn off the lights and eat it. I am the Scrooge of Halloween.
ReplyDeleteWe all dress up and have fun. Da mommas would like more trick or treaters, but we usually get some.
ReplyDeleteIn Australia Halloween isn't celebrated though there are a few communities who join in. In our area the local scouts fund raise by giving out maps of houses that will give out treats. So groups of people with dressed up kids follow the maps. Mind you it is light until about 8 p.m. and can be very hot. We're not going to bother this year.
ReplyDeleteWe live just outside of town so we only get the grandkids and some of the nieces kids. And some of the grandkids are getting too old so we don't get very many.

we will probably get a lot of kids tonight... the staff has not really a plan because it is my furst howl-o-ween...
ReplyDeleteWe don't dress up and we don't get kids at the door. Mom turns off the porch lights and we watch the tv turned up loud so we don't hear any outside noise. Sometimes we have popcorn too.
ReplyDeleteWe don't do Halloween these days since the alien showed up and scared the daylights out of me. But Happy Halloween anyways!
ReplyDeleteDad handles the trick-or-treaters at the door. I have to stay locked in ghostwriter's office (with ghostwriter of course) because I get too worked up when so many people come to the door.
