Monday Question

 How do you react when you see a strange human.  Do you go to them, hide from them, jump on them, bark at them, wait patiently for them to come to you?  Please let us know.

    River and I both bark very loudly when we see a human. If allowed River will got right to up people, stand up, and wants to be scratched. I am a darter. I go towards people, but when they try to touch me I back off and bark. I am told I scare some people. What babies.

    If we are outside on a walk, Misty and Timber can't wait to get close to the person so they can get lots of petting. Lightning is just the opposite, he would turn around and pull Mom all the way home.

    If we are inside, Lightning barks and barks at the stranger, and once again Misty and Timber race over to greet the person.

    I bark at them if I'm out of my territory. If they come to my door, I'll bark for them to come in and sit down and give me yum yum treats and ear scratches.

    we bark only at people who have no dogs on a walking string ... everybuddy has to have a dog right? people without are suspect we think...

    Jakey - As long as I see them coming first, I will stand and wait for pets

    I'll answer this for Angel Toto the mighty mini dachshund KNEW without a doubt everyone loved him. He loved everyone except my Daddy...who for some reason scared the pp out of him. Yep anytime Daddy came to visit Toto would roll over on his back and pp in the air...which of course landed on his tummy.
