Monday Question

Have your parents ever taken you to the vet because they talked themselves into believing you were sick, when, in fact, there was nothing wrong?

Pocket:  My parents took me to the vet for a growth that was a tick.

    of course... the highlight was the WHFT... they thought it can not walk... carried the poor chap to the vet, placed it down to open the door and the non-walking dog escaped like a missile... ;O)))

    Mom took her first schnauzer, Freda, to the vet where she worked because she thought she had a growth under her eye. It was an eye booger.

    Vets would rather see the critter rather than the human wait too long, should there really be an issue.

    My ghostwriter had to think for a long time about that question. But she has to answer honestly that she has never taken me, or the other doggies who've lived in this house over the years to the vet unnecessarily.

    Mama ALWAYS thinks something is wrong with me, and even if 75% of the time there is...She is trying to wait 3 days before taking me when I'm acting funny.

    Absolutely. Mom is always finding some reason to take us for a check. It is nice when there is no reason for concern.
