What inspired you to be a blogger and how many have you posted?
I joined a group called Doggyspace in 2008 because it looked like fun but the site was growing toxic. I wanted to keep in touch with my friends when I left that group so I started blogging, I have posted 4,260 blogs since 2009

4,260 posts! That's quite an achievement! I have about half of yours :-)
ReplyDeleteOr a waste of time
Delete3221... wow a lot...but you won!!! bravo!!
ReplyDeleteMom friend, Elaine, had an Airedale and she wanted lots of Airedales to blog so that's how it all started! We have done 3,885 posts and we've been blogging nineteen years.
ReplyDeleteI started in 2009 too, but have posted perhaps half as many as you.
ReplyDeleteThat's great that you felt like continuing on by keeping a Blog going. They are fun to find and read.
ReplyDeleteA Malamute Pal Gal with an ongoing dialgoue with Khyra said since she had so much to say, she should blog about it -
ReplyDeleteThat was 6661 posts again - starting in the fall of 2007 - she shared the transports and their travels - and allowed Holly to join the blog - and then ME to take on the sharing
It keeps my Human disciplined with daily posting - after all, they can get in so much trouble

I wanted to journal the lives of our pups, and found this community and a whole network of likeminded pet enthusiasts in 2009. We are at 3.998 posts.
ReplyDeleteNot sure how I found "William of Mass Destruction" blog, but it was my inspiration to start my own.
ReplyDeleteBefore that, I'd send out emails with kooky cat stories to my family and friends.
I am thankful you started your blog

Chaplin: "Back in the early 2000s our Dada had a blog that he tried to use to peddle his books, and then they got this rescue vizsla who they ended up naming Dennis and he discovered that he got a lot more visitors when he posted things about Dennis, and the rest is history. Including Dada's career writing books, apparently ..."
ReplyDeleteI've been blogging since about 2005. Many of those posts are gone when I switched to WordPress. My WordPress site has 2,755 posts.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous day and week. Scritches to Ruby Rose. ♥
That’s quite a remarkable record, over four thousand posts! It’s impressive how you turned a change in social circles into a creative outlet that’s lasted all these years. Blogging like that takes dedication and a genuine love for sharing.
ReplyDeleteThat’s quite the dedication, over four thousand posts! It’s impressive how you turned leaving one community into a lasting creative outlet. Keeping in touch with friends and sharing your thoughts clearly paid off beautifully.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations ๐ ๐ on your blog. I started blogging back in 2011 but after 2017 I had no computer for over 7 years. I lost access to my old blog due to the amount of time that had elapsed.

Congratulations on your Blog.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
