Pocket: I get more bothered than River, but the fireworks don't upset me as much as thunder. We are lucky. We don't have fireworks set off in our neighborhood and our city holds their firework display until the end of the summer. Good luck everyone.

No, they don't bother me none...okays, when the HUGE BOOMER ones go off, I do bark, cause that's just rude to interrupt my sleeps!!! Our city, okays, most of our state, fireworks are banned, butts that doesn't stop anyone....

we only bark sometimes, but we don't run away or are scared... but nevertheless we think with all their keep our planet vlean and safe the earth stuff to stop the fireworks would be a good step to do something good for our planet, but fireworks is probably something even the hardcore activists like, so they all have fun with that

If it's nearby I bark at it. The far away stuff I ignore. We usually turn the TV up so we dont hear much of it.
ReplyDeleteWe're lucky that the city puts on firework displays at various times of the year. But they aren't very close to us...we just hear more of a popping sound. But we always just go sit close to HER in case SHE's frightened.
ReplyDeleteAll of us get a bit bark-y when they set boomers off around here. Jakey used to get FRANTIC, but his hearing has gotten pretty bad and he doesn't hear them much anymore :-).

We do not like the 4th of July. We live near an Indian reservation and they sell fireworks that are illegal off the reservation but people set them off anyway. I bark and bark at them, not sure yet how Hilda will react
