Pocket: We don't trust other dogs. We bark a lot at them and for little dogs we are aggressive. My parents do wish we were different. We like it this way.

I don’t know about other dogs but there were 2 dogs here when I was adopted and I loved them lots, I used to sleep with them. They live at the Bridge now.
ReplyDeleteWe think we would be fine with other dogs. We get to play with Cousin Ruby sometimes. Mom says we tend to play "rough", so maybe we would do best with dogs that are our size.

I'm like you gurls, I bark my arse off at other doggies...unless they are Airedales! For some reason, I am calm with my people. Ma thinks that it's from my puppy days. who knows ~ I just knows all Airedales are weird, and I likes weird!

we are mostly good with other dogs, except they are not friendly then we bark back ;O)
ReplyDeleteWith play with about 15 dogs at the river every weekend, so we know canine etiquette if any new dogs come. HOWEVER, if we are behind the fence, or on leads, SHE says we are an embarrassment! We lunge and bark and act like killers.
ReplyDeleteIf its a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel (like me) I act as though its a long lost family member and run straight up to them and introduce myself. Other dogs I can take or leave but will always stand up for myself if barked at
