Monday Question

A question about your parents? 

Did any of them play an organized sport or have a special talent when they were young.

Pocket: Neither of my parents is especially talented.  Daddy played a little bit of basketball way back in the day.

    our dad was grounded during his childhood and teenager time, because he was not well-bee-hived... the mama played volleyball as she was a chicklet, but she decided to become a professional credit card shredder ... and she still sticks with that sports...

    The Hubby played football, basketball, baseball and tennis as a youth. I ran track, was on swim and volleyball teams. Nowadays, The Hubby likes to bike, and I walk.

    Nope, my parents weren't athletic. I was though. Nothing special, but I could run like the wind. Leave everyone in the dust.

    Dad was in band and chess club. Do those count? Mom rode her horse a lot. That wasn't in school though, so that probably doesn't count at all. XOX Xena and Lucy

    Our mom is a much better sport spectator than participant. But she did take ballroom dance lessons when she was in middle school. She was good enough to be in what they called the "show group".
