What are your plans for Thanksgiving?

    My parents are not going out this year. They usually go to their daughter's house but aren't going because of COVID. I don't think it will be a happy day for mom. They may put the Christmas decorations up depending on how they feel. The good news is it is the best chance we have had to get some Thanksgiving dinner in a long time.

    Xena: The sad part for us is our peeps bro Adam can't come cause of COVID. Well and also Mom and Dad and our Auntie Jen and Uncle Bill are going away to an Air B&B the next day and leaving us all alone with our sitter.

    We cook dinner together and it's just the two of us. Nothing has changed for us. The big meals and all the family went by the wayside some years back. The virus has changed nothing where the holidays are concerned.

    Sadly, yes. We usually host the whole family for Thanksgiving, the three big kids and spouses and the six grandchildre. But this year we will all be gathering via zoom:(

    We sometimes get together with another couple but not this year. We'll stay home and relax. Mom isn't cooking the turkey till next week so the peeps will have steak for dinner and we'll have something special, too.

    Like everyone else...our peeps will being staying home. They had plans to head out for the weekend to look at wheelie houses, but Cali has decided to put our county on another lockdown.

    Mama and Daddy may be sad, but we are pretty happy to have everyone home!

    Every year, we drive to my mother's home, where the family gathers.
    This year, we aren't going, nor are a few other family members, but my two brothers will be there; the three of them get together often.
