River rarely pees inside, even with friends, but a few weeks ago muy parents had friends over, and River was in the living room. She could not get anyone's attention and would have had to cross through the kitchen to reach the pads, so she went in the living room. She was very sorry but forgiven.

When was the last time you had an accident in the house?
Pocket: We usually go out but we also have pee pads. Sometimes I miss the pad, and sometimes I don't make it. It probably has been a month. ReplyDeleteSome of us think if our front paws are on the pee pad, it counts.
ReplyDeleteOur Chuck had accidents; we ended up tacking pee pads to the walls around the litter boxes, so when he'd 'aim high', the woodwork wasn't ruined!

ReplyDeleteWe are pretty much the same as Xena and Lucy, we rarely go in the house and if we do it's cause Mama didn't get home in a timely manner!

ReplyDeleteTimber has the occasional accident, mostly when his tummy is upset. Misty and Lightning have not had an accident in a very, very long time. Timber's last one was maybe four months ago, and they are few and far between.

I have actually been very good about not having accidents in the house. I remember when Joey dog was getting quite old, he might make a pee on the floor early in the morning, and he was always very sorry about it. But sometimes he just couldn't hold it until the peeps woke up.
ReplyDeleteMabel has not had an accident in a long time. Hilda is doing pretty good with her housetraining with only the occasional accident. She does not like it when the door is shut and she can't use the doggie door ha ha
