Wednesday With Words

Thank you who left comments of support, prayers, and love after River's passing. It may be that it happened so quickly, but her death has sent us into a tailspin. We are starting to pull out of it, but it will be hard. We are looking for a new dog, but it might take a few weeks. We have not been without a dog since 1996 when Tom Brady was a freshman at Michigan, Our house is empty. We pray is it full again soon.

Thank you to Ann Adamus for the lovely graphic.

  4. Yes, it must be very quiet and empty at your place. I think the three of those angels will plot together to help you and whomever will be the lucky pup(s) come together.

    Hugs to both of you.

  9. Paraphrased from a poem I've always not-quite-remembered ... "the rose that grows beyond the garden wall, may be out of sight, but its fragrance lingers on." Your garden will bloom again.

  10. No one ever takes a loved one's place. But they add their own special love and find their own special place. You will find that one.

  11. I know how devastating it was to lose your little girl, and I am heartbroken, too, just thinking about it. I'm glad I sent that last picture of her in the garden. So sweet. We have all lots beloved pets, and I know you have many before River Song. They are never far from our mind. I lost three kitties in one year, and then along came Dani. It fills the heart, and with time there are comfort in the memories. Will look forward to when your home isn't so empty anymore.
