Poetry Thursday

It's time for Poetry Thursday

Our friends Angel Sammy and Teddy have given us the pictute below to spur our creative juices. Here is my humble offer.

Frosty the Snowman
Went home for Thanksgiving Day
To see his parents, brothers, aunts uncles
And pose for a family photo before the melee
Uncle Barry the Snowman
Believes in everything Qanon says
The election was stolen the deep state rules all
And Trump is still the prez
There must have been some malice
In the stuffing served that day
Because it caused cousin Henry
To kick over the dessert tray
Frosty the Snowman
Asked why they all can't get along
Nephew Sammy said he agreed
Then went back to stuffing his bong
Frosty the Snowman
Remembered why he went away
Got in his sleigh and hit the gas
Saying "I have other plans on Christmas Day."

  1. That was a purrfect poem Ruby Rose, we got the giggles!

  2. Ah, those perfect family holidays....

  3. that should become the official christmas hymn...

  4. Ah, yes, family get-togethers....Our Thanksgiving (Canada) was in October, but the same family dynamics apply no matter the celebration or politics. LOL.

  5. You never know what will happen when the family get together!

  6. Bwa! Haa!! Haaa!!! Purrfect! Our Mom laughed so hard - coffee came out her nose and sprayed EVERYWHERE! (including the laptop). We LOVE it when that happens! You ROCK! Thanks and keep on being awesome!

Bishop Arrives at Rainbow Bridge

The ground shook, the wind bent the trees, and a tremendous howl arose amongst the angels. It was clear that something big was crossing the river:  Czar Bishop had come to Rainbow Bridge. The Czar, son of Miss  Kimberli, brother to the legendary Apollo and Napa, had used every heartbeat and more as he fought to stay with his mom and continue teaching all the orphaned dogs that his mother took in and found new homes for them to live.  When word spread of Bishop's arrival, dogs came from every corner of the Bridge to pay homage to him and greet the incredible dog who inspired his mom to save many other dogs. Bishop also helped his mom create one of the most entertaining Facebook profiles. Transcribed were the conversations between Bishop and his mom ranging from the new students two what he needed at the store. Few dogs have been blessed with a bigger heart than Bishop. He had his collection of pets he doted
