Monday Question

What is the strangest animal you have ever had in your house?

Pocket:  Before mommy and daddy were married mommy had the first floor or a two floor, two family unit.  The man upstairs liked the feed the ducks.  If mommy left the door opened the ducks would come inside.

One night Daddy got home late and there was a bat in his apartment.  It took him a half an hour to get the thing outside.   It was quite the battle

  3. Wow, we are like twinsies, River and Pocket. Mommmy let a bat in the house when she was a wee kid and thinking about climbing out a window to run away cause she was mad at her mom. Instead of her leaving, a bat came in and all mayhem broke loose. Then when she was grown up she had 3 muscovy ducks living in a trailer with her and swimming in her bathtub. He, he. Xena

  7. We've had just about everything at one time or another. Sometimes Mom or Dad bring them in because they need help and sometimes we bring them in to play with. Tsar used to sneak toads and turtles into the house. Usually Mom caught them at the door but occasionally he got one in. Then the fun began.

  8. Probably the rabbit that Lightning caught in the early morning and snuck in the house when Mom was barely awake. Imagine her dismay when she found it on one of the dog beds:(

  9. We used to have a sparrow that would come in and peck through the carpet....probably a testament to HER lack of housekeeping skills. But recently, we think we only had a frog that mysteriously appeared in the kitchen one day.
