Monday Question

What animals that aren’t pets have you encountered?

On walks I have encountered turkeys and turkey vultures and for awhile in our old house we had a possum living in the walls.

  2. We were having a cookout with friends one day and a baby skunk wandered into our yard. We kept her for a short while and then turned her loose and then there was Sammy the raccoon. We kept him for a short while and then took him to a rescue site.

  3. When I'm outside on my patio I have seen raccoons and possums and a skunk. When Lynn takes off on her bicycle she sees some of the same things plus mink. We think your picture is awesome.

  9. Lulu: "Our most interesting one was a bobcat we saw at the park! It was carrying a coot or some other kind of water bird, but when it saw us it dropped the bird and went back into the cattails it had come out of. Mama and Dada hope it came back for its meal after we were gone!"
