Ruby's Answer: I came with papers stating I was a pure bred Griffon, paper my parents quickly lost because they didn't get me becauae I was a pure bred but because I am me.

we are and we had to send our spit to the kennel club , but we think all papers and stuff is not as much as the contract and the paper we signed by heart...
ReplyDeleteI'm an English Cocker Spaniel and I do have paperwork and mom loves me with or without the fancy titles of my parents.

ReplyDeleteOur angel Little Bit was not a purebred. We've never had a purebred pup. It has never mattered to us. We always got babies that needed us the most.

We are purebred, but Mom tells everyone that we were very poorly bred! And we both ended up in rescue, because huskies often are surrendered.

I’ve had a mixed breed shelter pup, a rescued golden retriever, and of course the collies. They are all purebred and registered because we compete at dog shows in conformation. (And because we are obsessed with the breed and its history.) But for the other dog sports, it wouldn’t matter, any dog can compete with an AKC number.
ReplyDeleteWe are both purebred and yes, we do have the paperwork. But Mom never sent it in because we will never be bred or shown. We are meant to be pets for our peeps to be loved.
