Thankful Thursday

For the first time I am joining the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop hosted by my friend Brian the Cat.  The point of the post is simple - to state what we are thankful for.  Outwardly, I am not thankful, as I have been born with a resting bitch face, which makes sit look like I only have one emotion:  Disdain for all that surrounds me, but I am thankful for my home and family.  Lately they have been showing commercials for the MSPCA showing poor unloved dogs outside in the cold with no one to love them while I sleep in a bed next to my humans.  I am thankful for my truly blessed life, but maintain the right to at least look cranky!

  1. e agree so much with you... that is the best thing to be thankful for. Merry christmouse to ya...

  2. You can look cranky if you like, we think you're adorable and we're so glad you are here. Thanks for joining our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!

  3. That's the cutest resting bitch face we've ever seen. We hope you and your pawrents have a great Christmas.

  4. I don't think you look cranky. You look like you are very thankful for what you have.

I hope you had a woof woof Thankful Thursday.

Have a fabulous Christmas Eve and Christmas. My best to your peeps. ♥

  5. We too are thankful for having a roof over our heads, and the means to have furry loved ones live with us.
    Merry Christmas!

  6. I'm a firm believer be who you are!!
    Hugs Cecilia

  8. We look into ones "eyes" to see love, kindness, joy ... the
cranky face surrounding it matters very little.
And by the way, as we humans grow old (June will tell you that hers is) ... they often get cranky/wrinkly faces, too. Big deal.

River Song 2012-2022

At the end of the day what was wrong with River was everything: Fluid in the lungs, in the stomach, fluid in the heart, and very high kidney levels.  I think she loved us so hard, with such ferocity, that she used up her heartbeats. Thank you for your love and support. We might take some time from social media.  It is the first time in 26 years we haven't had a dog. We will find a new one, and be back.
