This is an excerpt from Pocket’s soon to be released best selling book “Going Rougff.” When I announced my candidacy for the Senate people...
Well, it may not have been the last thing but it was certainly the most impressive. A few years ago very early in the morning when it was still dark outside Lightning brought his prize in for Mom. She didn't see what he had as it was dark near the door.. When she went to see what he and Ciara were so interested in, she discovered a full grown wabbit:( She totally freaked out.

We are ALWAYS finding stuff for HER! We've found gloves, whistles, a beanie, a fish holder...screwdrivers, a Blinky Bill toy, an army knife; the last thing was a hammer!
ReplyDeleteDad is cleaning out the garage and I'm finding all sorts of treasure to bring in fur Mum….mostly they are too disgusting to mention but I finks her favourite(!) was when I found all those cobwebs and brought them in to the house on my furs….she said I looked like a cobweb cocoon!

That's easy. I brought in a whole lot of wonderful mud on my feet and splashed all over my belly! Is it just me, or do the humans not appreciate mud as much as we doggies do?
ReplyDeleteCrikey ....... I never give my treasures to Mum or Dad. I'd run a mile before parting with anything I find. I do, however, find things INSIDE which I take OUTSIDE and hide.
ReplyDeleteA few years ago we dogs brought in a dead gopher. We are still pissed about the reaction and have not been generous since then.
ReplyDeleteWells, I do bring Ma a paper towel everyday...she seems to like it, and she gives me a cookie when I 'drop it', so it's a win-win. for outdoor treasures, I almost brought a rat, butts Ma caught me and gave me the 'leave' word. I did bring her a nice juicy beetle! That was a hit! Bugs are my fav!
