  1. My parents could not be friends with someone who mistreats animals, and have struggled with family members who have not done right by their pets. Sometimes, it is through ignorance and they have tried to offer advice, but they can't cotton to people who are mean to dogs.

  2. always... the mama broke with a couple who bred wawa's in a former pigeon aviary, they never saw anything than this f-ing cage thig... just horrible. Fortunately this time we had a real president who fined back yard breeders. even it was not for the pets but for the money, it made an end of this puppy mill....

  3. Gail doesn't think she's ever had any friends who mistreat animals. Several of her cycling friends actively dislike dogs, and do their best to avoid them. But this is understandable as dogs and cyclists are not always the best mix. (Gail herself was once had a trip to hospital in Italy after the cyclist riding in front of her was knocked over by a dog running out from behind a wall and then she crashed into the other cyclist).

  4. We wouldn't want to be friendly with non-animal peeps (tho some may have valid reasons, most do not) ... and thankfully do not know any ...

  5. NO. Although Lexi worked for a year winning over a worker in a church where I worked. She had been terrified of dogs, and by the end, she was petting and loving on Lexi every day we were there.

  7. No, if you can't treat your babies like one of the family then you'll not be a friend at all.

    Have a fabulous day. ♥

  9. Aside from the vet tech who abandoned Misty, we don't know anyone personally that abuses animals. If we did, they wouldn't be our friends for long. That is part of why we ended up leaving the vet clinic we used for over 20 years.

  10. One of the first questions I ask people are if they like animals. If they are allergic, they may get a pass. If our pets don't like someone, then we know that is not a person to be friends with. Its funny, one of neighbors, both my dog and friend's dog growl whenever they see him. We got into a big discussion about this a few days ago.
